When we open our eyes and look around the beauty of nature surrounds us every day.
Sometimes in winters cold it’s harder to see, but the stunning beauty of nature is there just covered in a bit of Ice. For any of you who know me at all, you know that I am a summer girl. When the sun is shining and its seventy degrees or warmer I am in my glory. This week our event has brought me to Key West Florida. One of my favorite places in the world. It’s an eclectic mix of people from all walks of life, and I love the spirit and colorful beauty of each face I pass and then the bonus is Nature, It’s here in all of its abundant glory and I am overwhelmed by its beauty.
As I walked through some of my favorite places enjoying the sunshine and warm breeze on my face I decided to take time to walk through the stunning Key West Butterfly Conservatory. If you ever get a chance to walk through I strongly suggest you do it. It is an experience for all of your senses. The colorful patterns and stunning designs nature has created on each butterfly, bird or even just the leaves and colors in the flowers made me smile and brought tears to my eyes. The soft music playing was a symphony to my heart as I looked at the detail of each stunning leaf, each tiny colorful wing.
Nature and its bounty surrounds you when in Key West. The diving Pelicans are a joy to watch. Below the fishing pier giant tarpon are swimming past, You can’t help but stare down into the water to see these huge six foot fish just hanging out. Hens and Roosters walk down the street and at the Hemmingway House where the famous six toed cats take residence. You can come here for the food or the atmosphere but if you really look around you will be amazed as nature’s beauty is surrounding you. And you might just be as inspired as I am to create the next event, with just a small touch of beauty inspired by the detail I have seen here.
